Attending camp is often the highlight of a child's summer. To ensure everyone has a chance to experience it, United Way of Greater Waterbury offers the Campership Program for children ages 5 - 18 who are members of low-income families in Bethlehem, Cheshire, Middlebury, Prospect, Southbury, Thomaston, Waterbury, Watertown, Wolcott, or Woodbury.

Campership enables children to attend one summer camp session, and they are awarded on a first-come, first-served basis.

The Greater Waterbury YMCA accepts the campership for Camp Matuacha and Camp Oakasha!
