Active and Engaged Campers
We recognize that kids need a safe and stimulating environment during the summer where they can develop skills, have fun, and build positive relationships with peers and adults. That’s why the Greater Waterbury YMCA offers three summer day camps serving Waterbury and the surrounding towns where we inspire campers to learn and demonstrate the Y core values of caring, honesty, respect, and responsibility through positive role modeling and "teachable moments". Serving children 4 to 15 years of age, every day is a safe new adventure specifically tailored toward the age of your camper. Activities include archery, swimming, arts & crafts, boating, nature, hiking, family nights and more.
