NVITATION TO BID – Greater Waterbury YMCA Construction Services for Classroom Renovations and Site work Upgrades

The Greater Waterbury YMCA is accepting turn-key proposals from qualified firms for the following: Construction Services for Classroom Renovations and Site work Upgrades to 83 Prospect Street, Waterbury CT 06702. Pre-BID walk through will be on Wednesday, September 25, 2024 at 11:00 a.m. at 83 Prospect Street, Waterbury, CT 06702. Interested parties may obtain the service specifications by calling Michael Tedesco at (203)754 -9622 ext 157.
The request is for the Construction firm to provide construction services as related to the architectural designs.
Contractor must meet the following requirements:
- Applicants must be licensed, bonded, and insured. Proof required.
- Have a team capable of providing all the necessary services to execute the project.
- Have demonstrated experience in the planning and execution of projects of a similar nature.
- Experience with early childhood facilities construction projects is preferred.
Proposal should include:
- Pricing (broken down by materials, labor, and other costs).
- Timeline with estimated start and end dates.
- Plan to conduct work with minimal disruption to the childcare program.
- Overview of installation plan and equipment/materials to be used.
- Warranty details as applicable.
- Copies of your licenses, insurance, and bond.
- List of references from similar projects.
Sealed bids must be marked “Classroom Renovation & Site Work” and are due October 9, 2024 by 12:00 p.m., at the Greater Waterbury YMCA, Attention: Michael Tedesco 136 West Main Street, Waterbury, CT 06702. After review of all factors, including without limitation, responsiveness, qualifications and price, Greater Waterbury YMCA reserves the right to reject any and all Bids, to make an award, or to decline to make an award. Proposal must be valid for at least 90 days.
