Membership Freeze Request

Membership at the Greater Waterbury YMCA maybe frozen by the primary member on the account for a minimum of one month and a maximum of six months for approved reasons such as travel, employment, or medical issues. Supporting documentation may be required in order to extend a freeze for more than six months. Account may be unfrozen after one month. Please expect a confirmation email from someone part of the membership team.

I agree to the freeze policy outlined above. I understand that my membership at the YMCA will be frozen until my ending date or until I unfreeze within the maximum of six months. I understand that any family memberships I am responsible for will be frozen as well. I understand that it is my responsibility to notify my payroll department about my membership freeze and that the YMCA is not responsible for doing so. I understand that only one freeze of six months is available per year. I am aware that I will not be notified of when the membership is unfrozen. I understand that membership fees are non-refundable.
