Volunteers

Our volunteers are vital to the success of the YMCA. We are building strong kids and teaching valuable lessons about life: Respect, Responsibility, Honesty and Caring.

Camp: We are looking for some committed volunteers to help out with workdays at both of our YMCA camps. Friends of YMCA Camp Mataucha and Friends of Camp Oakasha will meet monthly for a Saturday morning work group from 8am-12pm. The focus of the work groups will be the continued improvement of the camp facilities for the Greater Waterbury YMCA service area. Mataucha (Watertown): Meets 1st Saturday of the month

Oakasha (Southbury): Meets 3rd Saturday of the month

Youth Sports: We are always looking for volunteer coaches, referees and scorekeepers.
