Before & After School Care
Now Serving Gilmartin Before & Afterschool!
The Before and After School enrichment programs offer school-aged children a flexible daily schedule that includes:
- Physical activity, instituted according to the Sports Play & Active Recreation curriculum
- Problem Solving and Creative Experiences, based on the YMCA Core Values: caring, honesty, respect, responsibility
- Nutritional plan guided by the State of CT Child & Adult Care Food Program
- Homework assistance from YMCA staff tutors.

Monday - Friday - 7:00 am to school start

Monday -Friday School dismissal 5:30 (6 pm for Chase & Carrington Schools)

On-Site: Located at the Greater Waterbury YMCA
Before School Care 6:30am-9:00am – schools we service: Regan, Kingsbury, Bucks Hill, Driggs (Van only), Maloney, St. Mary’s, St. Francis, (Carrington & Rotella a.m ONLY) (Bus only)
After School Care 2:30pm-6:00pm – Driggs, Walsh, Duggan, Tinker and Barnard (Van only), Regan, Bucks Hill, Maloney, St. Mary’s, St. Francis, Kingsbury, Wilson(pm only)
Off-Site Locations:
Waterbury 2:30pm-6:00pm: Chase School (serving Chase, Hopeville and Rotella, students), Carrington School (serving Carrington and Bunker Hill students) and Gilmartin (Gilmartin students only)
Prospect 3:00pm-5:45pm: Serving Algonquin and Community Schools
Watertown (Before And After School 7:00am-8:45am and 2:45pm-5:30pm): Locations at John Trumbull, Judson, and Polk school
We accept Care4Kids participants and offer financial assistance for those who qualify.
