Before & After School Care
The Before and After School enrichment programs offer school-aged children a flexible daily schedule that includes:
- Physical activity, instituted according to the Sports Play & Active Recreation curriculum
- Problem Solving and Creative Experiences, based on the YMCA Core Values: caring, honesty, respect, responsibility
- Nutritional plan guided by the State of CT Child & Adult Care Food Program
- Homework assistance from YMCA staff tutors.

Applications available at the Y, all applications received after August 20th will delay the child's start date until September 13th.

Monday - Friday - 7:00 am to school start

After School Care - Weekly Rates
Monday -Friday School dismissal 5:30 (6 pm for Chase, Carrington and Brooklyn Schools)

On-Site: Located at the Greater Waterbury YMCA
Before School Care – schools we service: Bucks Hill, Driggs, Carrington, Kingsbury, Maloney Magnet, Reagan , Rotella, St. Mary’s and St. Francis
After School Care – schools we service: Bucks Hill, Driggs, Kingsbury, Maloney Magnet, Reagan, St. Mary’s, St. Francis and Wilson.
Schools we serve: Bucks Hill, Driggs, Kingsbury, Maloney Magnet, Reagan, St. Francis, and St. Mary's.
Off-Site Locations:
Waterbury: Chase School (serving Chase and Rotella, students), Carrington School (serving Carrington and Bunker Hill students), Brooklyn School (serving Tinker, Brooklyn, and Barnard students)
Prospect: Serving Algonquin and Community Schools
Watertown: Locations at John Trumbull, Judson, and Polk school
We accept Care4Kids participants and offer financial assistance for those who qualify.
