Join our Triathlon Club!
Swim, bike, and run your way to your best self this year as a part of our Tri Club. You'll have fun, make new friends, and workout out with the most supportive team ever! For more info, contact Meghan or attend an Info Session on Monday, Feb 13 at 6 PM, Wednesday, Feb 15 at 12, or Saturday, Feb 18 at 10 AM. The 2017 Tri Club kicks off on Tuesday, February 28th at Brass Works Brewing Company.
Spring Brass City Meltdown
Get out of the winter funk with our Spring Brass City Meltdown competition! The structure of this program will help you get in shape for the summer and into a routine you can keep long after the competition! You must have a team of four people; teammates can be members or non-members, and they will be relying on you to be consistent with exercise! The contest is 10 weeks long. Membership is required to use the YMCA during the competition. Contact Meghan Lennon for more details at 203.754.9622 x155.
Spring Running Program
Take over the streets of Waterbury with us and join the Y Running Program! Are you stuck in a rut and finding it hard to go running on your own? Need some extra motivation? Our Running program will hold you accountable to running workouts with three group runs per week! Beginner and Level 2 Running Programs Available. Registration to this program includes race entry into the Cheshire Sea Dog 5K or 10K on Sun, May 21st. You will feel prepared and ready for this race after our 10- week program! Open to non-members as well. First run is Monday, March 13.
School Readiness Program at the Greater Waterbury Y
A full-day preschool program for 3-5 year olds that develops children's minds and bodies at the Y! Spots are still available for your child. Schedule a tour with Amy or call us for more information.
A new addition to our Youth Sports program at the Y, this class will provide your 2 or 3 year old exposure to soccer, kickball, t-ball, and basketball. This class is a fun, active way for parents and children to spend time together and will run Saturday mornings from 9-9:45. $30 for members and $35 for non-members. Pre-registration is required online or at the Front Desk.
Our newest Group Fitness class is a high-intensity cardio workout that you need to try! DEFEND TOGETHER is a gripping hour that burns a ton of calories and builds total body strength. Tap into the newest mixed martial arts movements done at a rapid-fire pace to smash your cardio fitness. This workout combines cutting-edge moves with thrilling music.
